<h2>Access Asia</h2>
<p>Specifically focussed on encouraging and enabling teachers to incorporate the Studies of Asia into their curriculum,<span style="color: #808080;"> <span style="color: #000000;">the Access Asia program aims  to increase empathy, knowledge and understanding about the peoples and countries  of Asia amongst teachers and students. The Access Asia Program aims to provide quality  professional development and advice to assist teachers with the design of  exemplary studies of Asia learning sequences. </span></span></p>

<p>Preston  Street artSPACE offers workshops in  drawing, painting, 3D construction and textiles production for adults and  students during term and school holidays. Adult workshops are programmed to  translate effortlessly into classroom practice and print resources are provided  to assist where possible.</p>
<p>Located in the Como business precinct, Preston  Street artSPACE has a wonderful gallery  space for hire and there is a workroom which is highly suitable for small group  activities.</p>
<p>Thelma Cluning also offers student  tutoring, teacher mentoring and relief teaching in addition to providing an  artSPACE where interested people meet for forums and artist’s talks.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Arts Edge is a strategic partnership between the <a href="http://www.eddept.wa.edu.au/">Department of Education and Training</a> (DET) and the <a href="http://www.dca.wa.gov.au/">Department of Culture and the  Arts</a> (DCA), which facilitates collaboration between education, arts and cultural sectors.  ArtsEdge is dedicated to visioning, developing, implementing and promoting  events and projects which support, recognise, advocate and celebrate  opportunities in arts in education.</p>
<p>While DET schools as partners in ArtsEdge receive a hard copy publication of events and opportunities, anyone can subscribe to receive their enews and download their publications.</p>
