The current ArtED Constitution (1981) underwent a major review during 2010 by a sub committee including Pauline O’Brien – Convenor (Primary background), Ilsa Bennion (Secondary and Arts Edge and Art on the Move Partnership background), Ana Nail (Primary and Country background) and Rachel Zimmerman )Primary and Corporate background – SoDA). The rewrite was guided by the Model Rules of Association provided by DoCEP.
The 2014 Management Committee is now keen to put this document before the whole artED membership to allow opportunity for feedback for both positive and constructive responses. Please quote the Rule number for ease of reference in any review feedback you provide. The feedback will be collated by the reconvened Constitution Sub committee, and in turn disseminated via the yahoo discussion list in what we hope will be a brisk consultative process, with an updated Constitution in place before the end of this year.
