Dr Sketchy’s life drawing 2008

A life drawing night with a twist!

Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is the life drawing night your mother never told you about! It’s art school meets cabaret: life drawing with glamorous and unusual models, including some of Sugar Blue Burlesque’s sexy stars for your sketching pleasure, plus live burlesque and variety acts, games and giveaways. Who said life drawing couldn’t be fun? Come and enjoy an evening of fun and frivolity at the Norfolk Basement on the corner of South Terrace & Norfolk Street, Fremantle on Monday, 21 July 2008.

How is Dr Sketchy’s different from a normal life drawing class?

In normal life classes, silent students sit in a silent room and draw a bored, oft-uninteresting model. In Dr Sketchy’s we’ve got scandalous performers in sexy outfits as models. We’ve got ridiculous art contests (Best incorporation of a mythical creature? Best left handed drawing?), live acts, good music and flashy prizes. Grab your sketch pad, grab your drink and settle in for a fun evening.

At Dr Sketchy’s we don’t care if you picked up a pad yesterday or 50 years ago. Come to drink or to draw. Everyone is welcome.
