With a regional focus this journal looks at the works of Lake Grace artist, Tania Spencer whose intricately woven sculptures have been a standout at the 2008 and 2009 Sculpture by the Sea, and the vivid Kimberley inspired paintings of Broome artist, Denise Walker. For ceramic enthusiasts there is information about how to make your own wood-fired raku kiln and examples of the pit fired works from the recently held ArtEd professional development weekend workshop. Most importantly, this issue contains primary and secondary programs focusing on Japanese tea bowls and a 2A program exploring a sense of place.
